Terms of Use

The rules for using ISI Event Hub, written to be read.

The short version

  • ISI Event Hub is free and you don't need an account to use it.
  • It shares information from ISI Asia. For official decisions, ISI Asia's own announcements come first.
  • If you have admin access, keep the password to yourself and only publish what you're allowed to.
  • We work hard to keep the app running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and onklabs, who builds and runs ISI Event Hub. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What the app does

ISI Event Hub brings together news, competition details, schedules, results, documents and photos from ISI Asia ice skating events. The content is published by ISI Asia's organisers. You can browse it without signing up.

We may add, change or remove features over time.

Admin access

Some organisers are given a password for the admin area, where they publish and manage content. If that's you:

  • Keep the password confidential and don't share it with anyone outside your role.
  • Only publish content you have the right to share, including photos of other people.
  • Don't upload anything unlawful, misleading, offensive or harmful.
  • Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think a password has leaked.

You're responsible for what you publish. We can change passwords or remove access at any time, for example when a role changes or to protect the app.

Using the app fairly

Please don't:

  • try to get into the admin area or the app's servers without permission
  • copy, scrape or bulk-download content in a way that puts load on the service
  • reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it
  • use the app to break the law or harm anyone

Who owns what

The app itself, including its design and code, belongs to onklabs. News, results, documents and photos belong to ISI Asia or to whoever created them. You're welcome to view and share them for personal, non-commercial use. For anything else, ask the owner first.

Official information

Schedules and results in the app are there to keep you informed. They can change, and mistakes can happen. If something in the app differs from ISI Asia's official announcements, the official announcement is the one that counts.

Updates

We release updates to fix problems and improve the app. Sometimes an older version stops working and the app will ask you to update before you can continue.

Other sites and app stores

News items can link to other websites, and documents may open in other apps. We don't control those and aren't responsible for them. The terms of the App Store or Google Play also apply to how you download the app. On iOS, Apple's standard licence terms apply wherever these terms don't cover something.

No guarantees

We provide the app "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that its content is complete and up to date.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, onklabs isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on content in the app, such as a changed schedule. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Ending access

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access for anyone who misuses the app, and we may stop offering the app altogether. If we do, we'll try to give notice in the app or on this site.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where onklabs is based. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the laws of the country where you live.
